# What your customer sees

> See which messages the customer gets from Sweeply, what the customer portal shows, and what the customer may change.

Your customer meets Sweeply in two places: in the messages you send, and in the customer portal. Here you see what the customer gets and what you decide.

## Messages the customer can get

| Message | Sent |
| - | - |
| **Customer welcome** | When you create the customer and choose to send it |
| **Order confirmation** and **Subscription confirmation** | When you create the order or subscription and choose to send it |
| **Before delivery** | Automatically a few days before the visit |
| **After delivery** | Automatically when the visit is completed |
| **Invoice** | Automatically when the invoice is ready |
| **Overdue invoice reminder** | When you send it from **Invoices** |
| **Subscription price adjustment** and **Visit week changed** | When you choose to tell customers about the change |

You decide the channel and wording. See [Automatic messages to the customer](/customer-communication/notification-channels-and-rules).

## The customer portal

The customer logs in with the email or phone number saved on the customer in Sweeply, and a code they are sent. There is no password. In the portal the customer can see:

* their next visit, and upcoming and past visits
* their subscriptions and orders
* their invoices, and pay them if you accept card payments

To see exactly what the customer sees, open the customer and select **Preview customer portal**.

<Warning>
  The customer's **Invoice email** gives the same access to the portal as the contact email. Only enter a shared address there, for example a bookkeeper, if that person may see everything about the customer.
</Warning>

## What the customer may change

Under **Settings** > **Customer portal** you turn on and off whether the customer may:

* **Move the next visit** to a free week
* **Add services to the next visit**, if the service is already in the subscription
* **Change service frequency**, so a service is carried out more often
* **Edit customer profile**: name, company name, and billing address

The customer cannot pause or cancel a subscription themselves. They can ask for it, and the request lands in your **Inbox**.

## Terms and conditions

Write your terms under **Settings** > **Organization** > **Terms and conditions**. Select **Insert Danish starter** for a starting point, and adapt it to your company. The starter is not legal advice.

When you save, the terms are public immediately. They are linked from the customer portal and from your emails. Select **View public page** to see the result.
