# Use notes, tags, and property images

> Put operational context in the right place so office and field teams can find it.

Use notes and images for operational context, and tags for grouping and filtering. They do not change lifecycle, planning, billing, permissions, or portal visibility by themselves.

## Choose the right location

## Property images

Upload reference images to the property so they are available on related work. You can add image notes and annotations to highlight access points or service areas.

  Do not store payment-card information, passwords, access tokens, or other secrets in notes, comments, tags, or images.

## Tags

Create short, consistent tag names that describe an operational grouping, such as a route area, customer segment, or campaign. You can add or remove tags in bulk from supported lists.

<Tip>
  Agree on a small tag vocabulary before importing or bulk-tagging records. Similar spellings create separate tags and weaken filtering.
