# Move existing data to Sweeply

> Plan an assisted migration of customers, service addresses, and subscriptions with Sweeply.

Sweeply helps you map, check, and move existing customers, service addresses, and subscriptions from an agreed export. Contact Sweeply before preparing the final export so the migration can be planned around your data and launch date.

## Before you start

* Arrange access to the system that currently holds your customer and subscription data.
* Choose a person who understands your data and can answer questions about duplicates, missing values, and special cases.
* Agree with Sweeply which records are in scope and when the final export should be created.

## Common reasons a migration needs follow-up

* Required values are missing or inconsistent.
* The export contains duplicates or inactive records that need a decision.
* Source-specific fields do not have a direct Sweeply equivalent.
* The source data changes after the final export has been agreed.
