# Adjust subscription times from recorded visits

> Review visit-duration suggestions, choose the supporting visits, and approve changes to future time allowances.

Use **Insights** > **Visit durations** to compare the time allowed on a subscription with comparable completed visits. You choose which suggestions to apply. Sweeply does not automatically change estimates or anyone's work speed.

## Before you begin

You need permission to read subscriptions to see the list, and to read orders to review the recorded visits. Applying a change also requires permission to update subscriptions.

Start and complete subscription visits in **Daily Program** to record usable visit times. Completing an order directly from its details does not add a new duration recording. Some older completed visits can also appear, identified as historical recordings with an assumed work speed of 100%.

## Understand the suggestion

* The comparison is for the same subscription, property, tasks, and quantities.
* Times are adjusted to one person at 100% work speed. They are standard work estimates, rather than the calendar time for a particular team.
* A suggestion needs at least three usable visits. It uses the middle value of up to the ten latest comparable recordings within the last year.
* Recordings under one minute or over 24 hours are excluded. Time between start and completion includes any breaks; separate task times are not measured.
* The list shows active subscriptions with applicable changes of at least five minutes and, for a positive current estimate, at least 10%.

## Review and apply

<Steps>
  <Step title="Choose subscriptions">
    Open **Visit durations**. Search or filter for visits that need more time or could allow less time, then select the subscriptions and choose **Review selected**. You can select across pages.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose the visits to use">
    A subscription with several visit types needs your choice of supporting recordings. Review the tasks, sample count, and current and proposed totals. **Use the visit type with most recorded visits** answers undecided rows only when one type has strictly more recordings; ties still need a choice.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the evidence and consequences">
    Open **Show details** to inspect the recordings, proposed task times, other affected visit types, and effects on existing visits. When several tasks share a visit, their current time proportions are kept. This allocation is a planning choice, not a measurement of how long each task took.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Apply the ready changes">
    Choose **Apply changes**. Only rows with a completed, current review are submitted. Subscriptions still needing a choice or a successful review stay selected for later.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check the result">
    Follow the bulk action and inspect any skipped or failed subscriptions. Open the change history to see who applied each change, its evidence, and its before-and-after values.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Check>
  Successfully updated subscriptions use the approved task estimates for future visits. Matching existing generated tasks are updated where permitted; the result shows what changed and what stayed unchanged.
</Check>

## What happens to existing visits?

The review distinguishes changed tasks, preserved work, and visits that may be replanned. Started, completed, notified, invoiced, paid, independently managed, or separately edited work retains its applicable protections.

Applying new estimates does not immediately rewrite saved calendar times or the duration of an existing assignment. Eligible visits can receive new times when they are planned again. Customer promises, protected dates, and manually controlled routes still restrict automatic movement.

Prices, quantities, service frequency, and work speed do not change. To choose another total or a different task split, edit the subscription through its ordinary editor.

## If a suggestion is missing or cannot be applied

There may be too few comparable recordings, too little difference from the current estimate, or tasks that need manual review. Several tasks with no existing time allowances must be given times in the subscription before a proportional suggestion can be applied.

If the subscription or supporting information changes after review, the change is skipped and needs another review. Other subscriptions in the same action can still succeed. Check history before retrying an uncertain result.
