Keep commercial information on the customer and location-specific information on the property. This lets one customer receive different services at several addresses without duplicating the customer relationship.
What happens when you create a customer
Sweeply creates an initial property from the customer’s billing address. If the service location differs, edit that property or add another property before creating work.
One customer with several locations
Create a separate property for every distinct service location. Orders and subscriptions then point to the correct address, notes, images, and requirements while sharing the same customer contact and billing preferences.
- Update the customer when contact, billing, company, language, invoicing, or notification information changes.
- Update the property when the service address, access instructions, planning coordinates, images, or visit requirements change.
- Update the order for a one-time change to one visit.
- Update the subscription when future recurring visits should change.
Changing a billing address does not mean every service property should move. Review the customer’s properties separately.
