Refund workflow
- An authorized operator creates the refund in Stripe.
- Stripe confirms the refund result.
- Sweeply updates the order’s customer-visible payment and refund state.
- Sweeply registers the accounting credit note and clearing-account settlement.
- Any accounting failure remains visible for follow-up without undoing the Stripe refund.
Provider behavior
- Dinero attaches the credit note to the original invoice and records returned money against the original invoice through the Stripe clearing account.
- e-conomic records the provider-specific credit note and settlement through its configured payment journal and clearing account.
- Billy records the credit note and bank-payment settlement through its configured clearing account.
Nightly reconciliation
Webhooks accelerate updates for Dinero and e-conomic. Sweeply also checks connected providers each night, including Billy, to retrieve missed invoice and payment changes. Nightly reconciliation does not scan complete provider ledgers, infer Stripe refunds from accounting credit notes, or reconcile payout entries.Refresh one invoice manually
