Billy becomes invoice-ready after you connect a DKK company with a valid access token and choose an invoice product.

Required and optional fields

The clearing and payout accounts must be different.

Connect and configure Billy

1

Create a Billy access token

In Billy, open Settings > Access tokens and create a token for the company you want to connect.
2

Connect Billy

In Sweeply, go to Settings > Customer billing > Billy, paste the token, and select Connect Billy.Sweeply encrypts the token and never displays it again. To replace it, disconnect and reconnect Billy.
3

Choose the invoice product

Select an existing product suitable for Sweeply invoices.
4

Create a product when needed

Enter the product code and name, then select its sales account and VAT rule. Creating the product does not save it as the invoice mapping until the setup is saved.
5

Configure optional cash

Choose a payment-enabled cash account when you use Send invoice as paid (cash).
6

Save the bookkeeping setup

Confirm that customer billing reports invoice readiness.
7

Configure Stripe separately when used

Open Stripe Connect to select clearing and payout accounts, choose the payout daybook, and enable payout posting.
Billy does not provide webhooks for this integration. Sweeply verifies writes immediately and checks Billy records during scheduled nightly reconciliation.
Disconnecting deletes the encrypted token. Existing Billy records remain, but Sweeply can no longer retrieve historical Billy PDFs or reconcile them.
