Before you start
- Arrange access to the system that currently holds your customer and subscription data.
- Choose a person who understands your data and can answer questions about duplicates, missing values, and special cases.
- Agree with Sweeply which records are in scope and when the final export should be created.
Steps
1
Contact Sweeply
Email support@sweeply.dk to arrange the migration and describe the data you want to move.
2
Agree the export and scope
Sweeply confirms the export format, the records to include, and the planned migration date with you.
3
Review the mapping
Sweeply maps the export to customers, service addresses, and subscriptions and raises questions about unclear or incomplete data.
4
Resolve data questions
Confirm how duplicates, missing values, inactive records, and special cases should be handled before the final move.
5
Complete the assisted move
Provide the agreed final export. Sweeply checks it and completes the migration at the agreed time.
6
Verify the migrated data
Review representative customers, service addresses, subscriptions, services, and expected future orders with Sweeply before starting live operations.
Common reasons a migration needs follow-up
- Required values are missing or inconsistent.
- The export contains duplicates or inactive records that need a decision.
- Source-specific fields do not have a direct Sweeply equivalent.
- The source data changes after the final export has been agreed.
The migration is ready when you and Sweeply have checked the agreed record counts and verified representative customers, service addresses, subscriptions, and future orders.
