For a member who works alone, configure planning participation, usable availability, a start location, service eligibility, and any required capabilities. If people work together, configure a planning team; its route settings take precedence over their individual routes in automatic planning.

Planning readiness checklist

1

Open the member

Go to Settings > Members and edit the person.
2

Enable scheduling

Turn on planning participation only if the person should receive field visits.
3

Assign eligibility

Select all services the member can perform and all property requirements they can satisfy.
4

Set the route start

Use the company address or select the member’s normal start address. Confirm that the address resolves to valid coordinates.
5

Choose transport and priority

Select car or bicycle and review the priority value. Use equal priorities when work should be shared fairly.
6

Set availability

Save the weekly schedule and add any known time off or custom hours under Settings > Availability.
7

Review work speed

Set Work speed (%) for work done alone. See work speed and visit duration for examples and the effect on existing visits.
The member is ready when Planning shows usable capacity and no issue reports a missing start location, missing service, or missing capability for work they should receive.
