Global channels control whether your company can use email or SMS at all. Event rules then decide which enabled channels each automatic notification uses.

Global channels

  • Enable email notifications allows automatic and manual customer email.
  • Enable SMS notifications allows automatic and manual customer SMS.
  • The SMS sender is managed by Sweeply support. Contact support if you need a branded sender.
A rule or customer override cannot use a globally disabled channel.

Automatic events

Sweeply provides rules for:
  • Before-delivery reminders
  • After-delivery messages
  • Invoice messages
Other customer events, such as welcome, order confirmation, subscription confirmation, and checkout messages, use the globally enabled channels when an operator or workflow triggers them.

Configure the settings

1

Open Notifications

Go to Settings > Notifications.
2

Enable global channels

Turn email and SMS availability on or off for the complete company.
3

Choose automatic rules

Enable the intended channels for before-delivery, after-delivery, and invoice events.
4

Review invoice senders

Decide whether the accounting provider, Sweeply, or both should send the invoice notification. Enabling the same channel for both can create duplicate customer messages.
5

Review the change preview and save

If the new settings make scheduled visits newly eligible for reminders, review the number of messages and newly protected visits before selecting Save and send.
Enabling a channel or expanding a lead-day window can enqueue reminders for already scheduled upcoming visits immediately.
